Donkey Kong Country on the Gameboy Color does a really great job of bringing the experience over from the SNES.-The graphics and animations look as good as they possibly could on the GBC, although it does tent do bog down a tiny bit from time to time but that doesn't really take away from the experience.
The Game Boy Color was capable of taking games for the original Game Boy, and displaying them with a choice of color palette. It also has only two Donkey Kong games titled Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong GB: Dinky Kong and Dixie Kong.
